The nickname “El Patron” brings in mind either a high status person or a notorious figure. Obviously, the most fun way for us to go was with the second perspective.
After creating a stylized, free-hand logo of a figure wearing a sombrero and a poncho, we decided to illustrate a set of more detailed characters that correspond with the concept of a notorious individual - and place them in posters of the most-wanted Mexican tastes.
